8 May – Day of Mourning at Warsaw University

We are deeply shocked and saddened by the tragic events that occurred today at the University of Warsaw’s Main Campus.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the Family and Loved Ones of the UW employee who lost her life and express our support for the injured UW security officer.

By decision of His Magnificence Rector Professor Alojzy Z. Nowak, Thursday, May 8th, 2025 has been declared a day of mourning across the University of Warsaw.
