Announcement on the deadline and form of applying for financial assistance in the 2025/2026 academic year (for students) [UPDATE 05.02.2026]

Form and deadlines for submitting applications for the Rector’s Scholarship, Social Scholarship, Scholarship for Persons with Disabilities and Financial Aid for students in the 2025/2026 academic year.

All applications must be submitted exclusively via the USOSweb system.
In particularly justified cases (e.g., due to technical issues preventing electronic submission via the USOSweb system), it is possible to submit the application in paper form at the Student Welfare and Support Office [BPM]. For paper applications, the deadlines below still apply; however, please note that submitting your application electronically through USOSweb is the preferred method.

To find the appropriate application form:
log in to the USOSweb system → go to the “Common section” tab → select “Applications” → then click “Start filling out” next to the application for the benefit you wish to apply for.

[RECTOR’S SCHOLARSHIP]

• Applications for the rector’s scholarship for academic year 2025/2026 can be submitted from 1 to 15 October 2025.
  The application submitted after the deadline shall be left without consideration.
• Applications for the rector’s scholarship for summer semester of academic year 2025/2026 can be submitted from 2 to 16 March 2026.

[SOCIAL SCHOLARSHIP]

• Applications for the social scholarship (winter semester) can be submitted from 1 September 2025.
  Example: In order get a scholarship for October, you must apply no later than 31 October.
  
• Applications for the social scholarship (summer semester) can be submitted from 16 February 2026.
  Example: In order get a scholarship for March, you must apply no later than 31 March.
  
• In order to retain the right to receive the scholarship for a given month, you must submit your application by the end of that month.

• Applications for the scholarship for persons with disabilities can be submitted from 15 September 2025.
• In order to retain the right to receive the scholarship for a given month, you must submit your application by the end of that month.
  Example: In order get a scholarship for October, you must apply no later than 31 October.
