Rector’s announcement on the terms and forms of applying for financial assistance in the academic year 2022/2023 (for students)

The form and deadlines for submitting applications for granting students the rector’s scholarship, social scholarship, scholarship for the disabled and allowances in the academic year 2022/2023

Pursuant to § 8 sec. 1 of the Regulations of benefits for students of the University of Warsaw, attached to the order No. 142 of the Rector of the University of Warsaw of October 1, 2019 on the introduction of the Regulations of benefits for students of the University of Warsaw (uniform text: UW Monitor of 2021, item 215), it is announced that follows:

1. Students submit an application for the rector’s scholarship in the academic year 2022/2023 in the form of an electronic document by USOSweb – the application submitted in this form is authenticated in a way that ensures the possibility of confirming the origin and integrity of the data in electronic form. In particularly justified cases – e.g. in the event of technical errors preventing the submission of an application in the form of an electronic document in the USOSweb – the application with documented achievements may be submitted in paper form. If it is necessary to submit the application in paper form, the documents should be submitted to the Student Welfare and Support Office.

Students may submit applications for the Rector’s scholarship in the form of an electronic document by the USOSweb, as well as in a paper form, from October 3 to October 17, 2022.

2. Students submit an application for the social scholarship in the winter semester and the summer semester of the 2022/2023 academic year in the form of an electronic document by the USOSweb – the application submitted in this form is authenticated in a manner ensuring the possibility of confirming the origin and integrity of the data in electronic form.

The application for a social scholarship should be submitted by the 18th day of a given month (in December 2022, in February, March, June 2023, by the 20th day of the month). If the application is submitted by the 18th day of a given month (in December 2022, in February, March, June 2023 until the 20th day of the month), the benefit will be calculated from the month of submitting the application.

Submission of applications for a social scholarship by students in the winter semester will start on September 12!

3. Students submit an application for the scholarship for students with disabilities in the academic year 2022/2023 in the form of an electronic document by USOSweb – the application submitted in this form is authenticated in a manner ensuring the possibility of confirming the origin and integrity of data in electronic form.

In the academic year 2022/2023, the application for a scholarship for students with disabilities should be submitted by the 20th day of a given month (in November 2022 by the 21st of the month, in May 2023 by the 22nd of the month). If the application is submitted by the 20th day of a given month, the benefit will be calculated from the month of submitting the application.

4. Students submit their application for the allowance in the academic year 2022/2023 in the form of an electronic document by the USOSweb – the application submitted in this form is authenticated in a manner ensuring the possibility of confirming the origin and integrity of the data in electronic form.

Students may apply for the allowance for the entire academic year.
