The form and deadlines for submitting applications for granting students the rector’s scholarship, social scholarship, scholarship for the disabled and allowances in the academic year 2023/2024
Pursuant to § 8 sec. 1 of the Regulations of benefits for students of the University of Warsaw, attached to the order No. 142 of the Rector of the University of Warsaw of October 1, 2019 on the introduction of the Regulations of benefits for students of the University of Warsaw (uniform text: UW Monitor of 2021, item 215), it is announced that follows:
- Students submit an application for the rector’s scholarship in the academic year 2023/2024 in the form of an electronic document by USOSweb – the application submitted in this form is authenticated in a way that ensures the possibility of confirming the origin and integrity of the data in electronic form. In particularly justified cases – e.g. in the event of technical errors preventing the submission of an application in the form of an electronic document in the USOSweb – the application with documented achievements may be submitted in paper form. If it is necessary to submit the application in paper form, the documents should be submitted to the Student Welfare and Support Office.
Students may submit applications for the Rector’s scholarship in the form of an electronic document by the USOSweb, as well as in a paper form, from 2 October to 16 October 2023.
- Students submit an application for the social scholarship in the winter semester and the summer semester of the 2023/2024 academic year in the form of an electronic document by the USOSweb – the application submitted in this form is authenticated in a manner ensuring the possibility of confirming the origin and integrity of the data in electronic form.
Submission of applications for a social scholarship by students in the winter semester will start on 18 September 2023!
The application for a social scholarship must be submitted by the 18th of a given month (except for exceptions), that is:
- by 18 October
- by 20 November
- by 18 December
- by 18 January 2024
- by 20 February
- by 18 March
- by 18 April
- by 20 May
- by 18 June
- by 18 July
- by 20 August
Submission of an application by the indicated day of a given month will enable accrual of the benefit from the month of application. Submission of an application in September will allow the benefit to be calculated from October 2023.
- The application for a scholarship for students with disabilities for the 2023/2024 academic year is submitted by students in the form of an electronic document via USOSweb – the application submitted in this form is authenticated in a way that ensures the ability to confirm the origin and integrity of the data in electronic form.
For the 2023/2024 academic year, the application for the scholarship for students with disabilities must be submitted by the 20th of a given month (in January and April 2024 by the 22nd of the month). Submitting the application by the 20th of a given month will enable the benefit to be calculated from the month of application.
- The application for the assistance grant in the academic year 2023/2024 students shall submit in the form of an electronic document through USOSweb – the application submitted in this form shall be authenticated in a manner that ensures the ability to confirm the origin and integrity of the data in electronic form.
Students may apply for the assistance grant for the entire academic year.
