I have a place in a dormitory and what’s next?

[The entry applies to the general pool]

On July 25, places were awarded in round 1 (dedicated to current students and doctoral students). All those who applied received a place in one of the student houses. Places were awarded using an algorithm that took into account all the points earned by a given student or doctoral student.

I’m satisfied with the dormitory granted!

Congratulations! Most of you have received the dormitory you chose first or second on your preference list. Once you have received a positive result, you do not need to take any additional action.

I’m dissatisfied with the dormitory granted!

We are very sorry. If you are not satisfied with the place allocated in a particular dormitory, you can use the exchange market. You can find the exchange in the same place in USOSweb, where you can find the application for a place in a student house. The way the exchange works is very simple, for example: if you want to exchange a place in DS3 for a place in DS5 in the exchange market must take part in the exchange the person who received a place in DS5 and wants to live in DS3.

Important! Our office does not make exchanges of places.

The next step – accommodation!

Accommodation begins on September 15th. If you want to live in a dormitory earlier, please contact the dormitory in question to make sure it is possible. When checking in, remember to have 2 photos, an ID document and a deposit (in the amount of the 1st month).
